About 65 people attended in Boaz and 50 in Russellville including those who came to another pre-preogram on Friday.
The topics were Deepening our Faith, the Exous and Immigration, Leadership styles, Cath. Social Teaching and Immigration, and Our Lady of Guadalupe as Promoter of Human Dignity. These were woven together to provide wholistic evangelization promoting the dignity of the person as the foundation of Catholic Social Teaching, the Mission of the Immigrant and the People of God in this country, and and to raise awareness about rights and responsibilities as an immigrant.
The people were very grateful and valued this formation experience because it is not what they regularly are taught. They invited us to share some topics in other parish and Renovation retreats, which I see as very interesting since it will help us to spread these messages through teaming up with other movements in the Church.
