On May 8th, we gathered together for the blessing of Our Lady of Guadalupe Community Garden that we have at “La Casita” grounds. Father Thomas Ackerman gave the blessing, bilingual songs were sung, as volunteers from the American and Hispanic communities were present. The purpose of growing vegetables in this garden is to provide quality food to people who come to ask for food.
Entrusting in God’s hands this beautiful project we hope the garden will become a food source and a blessing to our community.
