Last Saturday on July 24th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm we had the Back to School Event in Birmingham, AL. Every year Guadalupan Multicultural Center “La Casita” participates in this event collaborating with volunteers in the distribution of school supplies for children and youth of Hispanic families.
The school supplies were distributed at Green Valley Elementary School in Hoover, AL. One of the main volunteers is Magdalena Ortiz.
